In 2019, three individuals recognized that small businesses in Africa were struggling to manage their finances due to the unavailability of affordable and user-friendly financial management tools. The limited existing tools also failed to meet their needs. This situation resulted in these businesses to lag behind in terms of growth and competitiveness.
